its been 7 long years since the last Smashing Pumpkins CD, of which i just purchased and i have to say its been worth the wait. much better than the last two pumpkins CDs, Adore and Machina, and many times better than the failed Zwan project, this CD goes back to the gish/siamese dream days. most of the songs are very heavy, which i love, and the whole thing is very political if you really listen to the lyrics. probably the best song is track 7 "united states" unfortunately unless u buy the CD u'll never hear it on the radio as it clocks in at 10 minutes. I really like the whole thing until the last 2 songs, they seem to me that they dont fit the overall style or theme of the project.

overall i would give it a 7/10 and would definately recommend it to any pumpkins fans out there.
