those that know me know that I have always been a huge Prince fan. 3 CDs ago he released Musicology, after a couple poor CDs, and I thought that he was back to form. The songs were great and I really liked it. then 2 years ago he released 3121, which i didnt like very much at all. Just yesterday I got an advanced copy Razz of his new CD out in 2 weeks called Planet Earth. i have only listened to it once so far and again I am left disappointed. IMO Prince is capable of so much more and it seems like he is just putting out music for the sake of putting out music, with not a lot of effort. Maybe other fans out there will like this, but I would only give it a 4/10.

When I was young man I really liked listening to Prince.... especially the Purple Rain album. I am not sure when, but at some point during the late 80's early 90's I just lost interest in his music. Don't get me wrong, I think Prince is talented.... I just lost interest.

prince is very talented. i dont know if you caught his super bowl halftime show but i thought it was amazing. he has had some very good CDs since purple rain, that was over 20 years ago, but his last 2 have been bad. actually most have been subpar since he be came a JW.
