The Fugitive, the television series was awesome. I would watch The Fugitive every morning before work on A&E from 8 'til 9. I watched each and every episode. The Fugitive is definately one of my favourite T.V. series ever. The movie version starring Harrison Ford as Dr. Richard Kimble, and Tommy Lee Jones as Lieutenant Girard was also spectacular. The Fugitive movie version earned Tommy Lee Jones an oscar.
The Fugitive, the T.V. series aired from 1963-67 starring David Janssen as Dr. Richard Kimble, falsely accused of killing his wife. While Lieutenant Girard (Barry Morse) pursued Dr. Kimble. It became an obssession for Lt. Girard to capture Kimble at any cost. Kimble was looking for a one-armed man (portrayed by Bill Raisch) he caught glimpse of fleeing his house the night of his wifes brutal murder. The series gripped me each episode where Dr. Kimble would come across a small, rural town and go under an alias at the same time hoping no one recognized him from the news or newpapers for being a wanted man for murder. Dr. Kimble would work odd jobs asissting people in trouble. Hot on the trail missing him by minutes, Lt. Girard was on the hunt for Dr. Kimble. The cat and mouse chase was well done, and lasted four seasons until Dr. Kimble caught the one-armed man eventually clearing his name as murderer. The Fugitive is a must see, for those who loved the movie. I highly recommend The Fugitive series to anyone who appreciates classic storytelling. This was a great series. I dont know why... but I watched each and every episode I could. I think I have also seen all of them but I cannot be sure.
