This is hard to narrow down to my fav five shows on Tv. Well, here they are:
1. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
2. ER
3. CSI:Miami
4. King Of Queens
5. A&E - The First 48
There they are. My fav five shows. It sure wasn't easy. I do want to purchase 24 season 1 - 4. I lost track during the first season and haven't watched it since. I'm to far behind and out of the loop to start watching it now. Has anyone seen the show Lost? Is it any good? Let me know. It looks like a cross between Lord Of The Flies, Castaway, and The Swiss Family Robinson. The reason I ask is because I've heard from several people Lost is a great show. I'm uncertain about it, but a liitle interested. |

With the show 24, I do not think you need to watch the other seasons, IMHO. From one season to another, there could be a couple of years span in that time. The show is mostly based on what happens in a 24 hour period...there not much time to reminise about past days.
I have never seen Lost...never got hooked on it but have heard good things about. Also never seen it but get high reviews, Desperate Housewives. I guess I'm just not there in my life yet..lol |

| You guys have good choices. I guess I'll wait and watch the new season of 24 in Jan. For Lost, I'm going to rent the first season before starting on season 2. I forgot the Saprano's and Smallville. Both great shows. |

| That would make two of us then. I just discovered a brand new show that's actually pretty damn good. Criminal Minds. Criminal Minds is on Wed. nights at 9:00 on channel 9. Check it out. By the way I just got hooked on the Tv show House. House is ok. That's all I got for now. I got one more. Without A Trace on Thursday nights at 10:00. I like the show Without A Trace, but it's on the same time as ER making it very difficult to watch unless it's a repeat episode of ER. |

you might want to invest in satelite TV...We have timeshifting so I can watch the same show just about anytime of the night. It comes in handy when there are more that one show on at the same time you want to watch.
The show Invasion is getting better every episode, this week it was on the edge of the seat. It was almost like watching a movie, the suspence was killing me and then there were the commercials. Which I can not stand....that is a whole different conversation or discussion |

I purchased the PVR from Shaw Cable it has a 450 gig hard drive. What I do now is tell it to record all of my favorite shows.... It has a neat feature where you can skip commercials.... I really like it.
I have also been watching Invasion lately, and it is starting to get good. The show has potential so I have added it to my record series section. |

| I want one of those. I'll check out Invasion sometime if I get the chance. Invasion looks and sounds pretty interesting. I forget what days Invasion is on. |

| Sorry dude can't help you with that right now... with the PVR I just set it to record. Every once in a while I notice a new episode has been saved and ready to watch.... I will try and make note of the day Invasion is on next time I see a recording and let you know then.... |

| Thanks because I never purchase a Tv guide or rarely check out channel 17 for Tv show listings and times. Maybe I should, but I don't for I already know when my fav shows are on. Is Invasion like X-Files, V, and Invasion Of The Body Snatchers combined into one show? |

| for any of you have not seen House yet, you've got to check it out. It, in my opinion, is the best show on TV. The acting is great, it is funny and witty, and thought provoking. It grips you from beginning to end and House is such an A double S that its hard not to like the guy. Definately check it out if you get the chance |

I have to say Lost has really grown on me. When I first posted I had only seen a few episodes... I have watched all of the first season and I would have to say that it is the best show going right now... Still like Invasion, and Stargate too |
