Rumours have been circulating around like a virus about this so-called GNR reunion. Apparently word is the original bandmembers - Axle, Slash, Duff, Izzy, Steve Adler (the original GNR drummer) will reunite for one show in Europe. I doubt it. Axle lives by the beat of his own drum. For the rest of the bandmates want nothing to do with GNR. Especially the egomaniac, incorrigable Axle Rose A.K.A. Bill Bailey who owns all the rights to the bands royalties every since they split back in 1995 after the disasterous cover album 'The Spaghetti Incident'. Axle is said to do a world tour with his new bandmembers which are still called GNR sometime this year. I doubt it. Axle will end up cancelling the show due to mental issues or drugs or some lame excuse leaving fans pissed off wanting to lynch him. Who would love to see the original members of GNR get together one more time for one last World Tour? I would, but the ticket prices would be ridiculously expensive, but who cares. Motley Crue set their differences aside to reunite and tour one last time together so why can't GNR. I'm sure Velvet Revolver, after recording their newest album and after promoting it by touring, could put the Velvet project aside and have Slash, Duff, and Matt leave to rejoin GNR with Izzy and Axle for one more wild, amazing musical world event. Does anyone agree or better yet want this to happen if it were possible? Let me know die hard GNR fans.

I am of two minds on this one.... first off... Axle sounds like crap now... so how good can a reunion tour be? I want to say let the band live on in memory as a great band that self distructed. I would hate to have the music further tainted by a crappy reunion tour and maybe another cash grab greatest hits album.
On the other hand I really like Guns N Roses. I have seen them live in concert twice and they used to put on a great show.... |
