From reading and watching the news it seems that the powers that be are ready to push the button and unleash mass destruction with no regard to the millions of innocents who are nothing but expendable. There is no point to it. The outcome of a WW would be catastrophic. I know we all feel the same way about it, I hope you all do. This is something that concerns me more today than before because of my children and all of the other families out there trying to live and struggle to mold, build, and pave a promising future for our children. Let me know your thoughts and concerns on this subject. I'm curious to know your thoughts and views on WWIII and the possibilty of it happening in our lifetime |

well for those that have a religeous background, the bible talks of wars and rumors of wars and that large battles will happen in the middle east region before the second coming. Do i believe that is what is occuring right now? i have no idea, it is not for man to know when the second coming will occur. It is however scaring the crap out of me. the middle east is a very volitile region that, as we have seen, can erupt at any given moment for what we see as "stupid" reasons. The people in the region, specifically the Jews and the Palistines have been fighting over this small strip of land ever since the Jews were given the land at the end of WWII. It is definately something that everyone should be keeping an eye on and trying to understand what is happening. When and how will it end, I'm not sure. I'm not sure I will like the ending either.

Which button are you referring to? Isreal and Lebanon and even Iran for all their military might are just small players in the world. Iran has a very large army but dont forget Iraq was the second largest military power in the world and it came crashing down when it stood up to the world. I am not suggesting that a conflict in the Middle East is not going to spread into a world war, but I think if things go too far you will see the full UN body step in.
Lets just wait and see what happens. It could get nasty but I am an optimist, I believe that the major powers in the region do not want the US, England, Germany, France, Russia and China to all step in not to mention that these super powers do not want to line up against one another. Cooler heads will prevail. |
