Have you heard the new single 'Original Fire' by Audioslave from their third upcoming album called 'Revelations'? It's pretty good, but not their best. I'm a huge Audioslave fan. Are you? What do you think of the new song 'Original Fire'? Let me know. Cool

Okay, for a guy who barely knows the names of the bands, let alone the name of the song I am listening too, I will say that I like Audioslave. I didn't think I would at first... but I was wrong.

i have heard original fire a few times now, it is on heavy rotation here in utah, and i have to say it is not their best. the lyrics are a bit subpar for chris cornell, but it does have the classic Tommy Morello guitar licks in it which i like. hopefully the album will be better than the single, which Im sure it will. the CD cover is awesome by the way. check it out at http://www.audioslave.com/

i recently bought the new audioslave CD - revelations , when it came out last tuesday, and i have to say i was a bit disappointed. the first CD was brilliant, just an amazing piece of work. the second CD was good not not as good as the first, and the 3rd is ok, not as good as the 2nd and definately not as good as the 1st. The lyrics just dont seem as strong on this one, and I find that it isnt as easy to listen to or hear the lyrics clearly this time around. It has more of a raspy mumbled sound to it. Tom Morello is as amazing as ever however. just wails on every track. so the music side of things is not lacking. I'm wondering if Chris Cornell is slipping. It seems to me that that is what happened to Soundgarden too. They had a really strong CD and then it was all down hill from there.

Now, after all is said and done I have only listened to it 1 time straight through, so my opinion may change the more i hear it but for now i would say only a 6/10

for people that dont own any audioslave go buy the self titled 1st CD instead of this one.
