This can't be easy for anyone to choose one, but that's the rules. Good luck choosing.

Speilberg is a genius, I agree. James Cameron is my choice. Filmography:

1. The Terminator
2. The Terminator 2: Judgement Day
3. True Lies
4. The Abyss
5. Journey Into The Abyss ( A documentary )
6. Titanic
7. Aliens
8. Strange Days

I love James Cameron's filmwork and story telling. Most of his films take at least 45-60 min. to get into, but once you do the @#$% hits the fun full throttle. I wish Cameron would resurface into the Blockbuster movie making scene and give us some more classic action packed excitement and originality. Who else is a James Cameron fan? Come on don't be shy.

Well, going out on a limb here, but here goes
I'd have to say my favourite director is Tony Scott. I really enjoy his movies. I will grant the heckler that there was a few bombs, but for what they are, by this I mean no Spielberg or Cameron movie, they are usually pretty good. You may remember him from such films as:

Agent Orange (2004)
Man on Fire (2004)
The Hire: Beat the Devil (2002)
Spy Game (2001) Robert Redford Brad Pitt Havent seen it.. Have you?
Enemy of the State (1998) Will and Gene? Not bad
"The Hunger" (1997) TV Series (episode "The Swords")
The Fan (1996)
Crimson Tide (1995) Havent seen it, dont like the sounds of it. Laughing
True Romance (1993) My all-time favourite movie. Slater at his best.
The Last Boy Scout (1991)
Days of Thunder (1990) Cole Trickle? Wheres the love?
Revenge (1990)
Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) Was it good? I dont recall
Top Gun (1986) Oh yeahhh! Classic
The Hunger (1983)
"Nouvelles de Henry James" (1976) (mini) TV Series (segment "Auteur de Beltraffio, L'")
One of the Missing (1971)
Loving Memory (1969) (as Anthony Scott)
