Owen Wilson is pretty good but I don't see him as a top ranked actor. Sure he might be good looking..... he might even be talented but he is not in the catagory of De Niro, Pacino, and Haufman to name a few.

Owen is very good when paired with the right actor / actress. I think he is a perfect fit with Jackie Chan, fits in well with Ben Stiller and was pretty good with Eddie Murphy.

I will watch the Wedding Crashers as I think he will fit in perfectly with Vince Vaughn who I think is a very underrated actor.

Anyway. Thanks for joining our forum and I hope you will stick around. We have a great bunch of people here who know movies and love movies Smile

You named a load of serious actors there Chris, what about Jim Carrey?

Owen Wilson is a good actor. I'd like to see him in a serious role in the future. Wilson needs to spread his wings and try new things and not get type casted in comedies. Wilson and Stiller did some drama together years ago called Permanent Midnight. The film focused on Stiller and his high paying career and his expansive appetite for drugs. It wasn't bad. Check it out sometime, even though Owen isn't the main character. Elizabeth Hurley's in it too.
