In light of recent events I have had to tighten up security on the forums. My goal was to make this forum usable to anyone regardless of whether you have an account or not. It is suppose to be fun. Spammers have decided to attack my forums to the point where they are posting as many as 10 spam posts per topic….. Which is ridiculous!

I have tightened up the security by making it harder to create an account. People are no longer able to make a post without having an account…. For which I am sorry.

I have also deleted all users who have not even browsed the forums. I have left users who have not posted in the past in hoping that they will start to contribute to the forums in the future. My goal is not to punish people, who only wish to read the forums, just get rid of the users who do not wish to contribute.

If I inadvertently deleted your user account please do not take offence. I only pruned out the accounts that I felt were non contributing members. Feel free to sign up again if your account was deleted in error.

Sorry once again folks but it was necessary to maintain a forum free from spammers. If the spam continues I can implement further restrictions which will virtually guarantee no spam but I do not wish to go that far.

Let’s hope we can go back to normal and thanks for your patience while I came up with a workable solution.

Sorry guys. I made a small problem when I locked the forum down and it wouldn't allow new account sign ups.

Problem has been resolved.
