I saw this movie in the theaters. I remember that I enjoyed the movie a lot. I am thinking of buying it when it comes down in price. I might go to blockbuster and buy it as a previously view movie rather then renting it again.

Has anyone else seen it? I would love to hear your thoughts on this movie before I write my review.

Great concept, but I'm not sold on National Treasure. Maybe one day down the road I might purchase the DVD. For now there's nothing worth buying on DVD. Don't get me wrong National Treasure was entertaining and fun to watch. Not bad for Nicolas Cage to pick a quality film to star in after a a few previous disasters.

Too bad you didn't enjoy National Treasure. I thought that the movie was very well done. National Treasure was gifted with a great cast and Abigail Chase the treasury expert girl was from the movie Troy if you didn't recognize her. Diane Kruger was Helen of Troy, the face that launched a thousand ships... and I must say she is beautiful.

I really liked the concept of National Treasure. The way Ben Gates played by Nicolas Cage deciphered the clues was far fetched at times but it was still a fair bit of fun. I really enjoyed the way National Treasure forced you to think about the clues and how they were part of the story all the way to the end of the movie. It is extreamely rare to have a movie involve you in the storyline the way director Jon Turteltaub did.

I hope that you take another look at this film in the future as I think if you go in with a new mindset you will enjoy it. Thats my opinion anyway.

Thanks for your input... keep it coming!

Cast of National Treasure was strong.. have a look:

Nicolas Cage .... Ben Gates
Diane Kruger .... Abigail Chase
Justin Bartha .... Riley Poole
Sean Bean .... Ian Howe
Jon Voight .... Patrick Gates
Harvey Keitel .... Sadusky
Christopher Plummer .... John Adams Gates
David Dayan Fisher .... Shaw
Stewart Finlay-McLennan .... Powell
Oleg Taktarov .... Shippen
Stephen A. Pope .... Phil (as Stephen Pope)
Annie Parisse .... Agent Dawes
Mark Pellegrino .... Agent Johnson
Armando Riesco .... Agent Hendricks
Erik King .... Agent Colfax

Man dont listen to Mr. Film. Aparently he has confused the feeling he gets when he's constapated with the feeling of a bad movie.
This movie was fun from the start. It had intruig that made a normal person involved in the solving of logic problems.
The movie does have its pleasures, like Cage's enthusiasm or having Kruger spend a few scenes in a black ball gown. (She appears much prettier when the picture doesn't hinge on her beauty the way ''Troy" did.) It's also nice to watch a movie that makes one curious about national history, no matter how otherwise illogical that movie is.
I had a very good time watching this flic and It made me feel good the whole show.
