My name is Chris Carreck and Carreck is my family name. I have been very interested in my family history and I am always looking for people who might help fill in the gaps. The Genealogy of the Carreck name is very interesting and has fascinated me for a number of years now. Before changing to this new message board system I heard from a few of you. I unfortunately had a server crash and I lost all my information. I am currently working to rebuild the info here and hope to have something up soon.

In the upcoming weeks I will start posting the information I have collected over the years.

In the mean time, if you are a Carreck or have some information you would like to share, please feel free to make a post. I would really like to hear from you!

I know a guy named Bill Carreck. Well, knew him when I was a kid.
Good guy - Maybe you 2 are related?

It is possible. I have a cousin who went by either Bill or William Carreck. He is probably about 35 now and lives in Nanaimo BC Canada. I haven't seen him in some time now so I am not sure what he is doing. Last I heard... about 2 years ago now he had another baby. Haven’t heard anything else though… so if it is the same Bill I do not have any more current information.
