Let us be completely clear about this.....for the last time, reality T.V. is trash that the television industry is shoveling down the throat of the numbed masses.....

As a new member to this forum, may I state that all of your comments are well spoken....( i guess )and I for the most part I am not into reality tv...except for the Amazing Race, which I watch every week. I'll have to agree with Chris and say that it is a bunch of crap unless it has a point or leads to something other than sex on a beach with the night vision cameras watching....[/b][/color][/size]

OK,OK, OK, Where do I start.... Some of you know me and some don't, but by your comments about people who watch reality tv are very degrading and that is not nice. I do like reality tv...With me watching them, I know my life is pretty darn good and they are a good laugh. Someone mention, get out side and stop watching them. Well. it is pretty hard for me to do. I either watching them As I feeding my 6 month old child, getting her ready for bed, like dressing her or feeding her a bottle. What else is there to watch during the summer season...rerun. WOOHOO
Where else can you get unpredictiable outcomes and a good laugh. I don't watch them all but quite a lot of them but I will be willing to run a forum on them... Wink

If you hate reality tv so much change, the channel or leave the room. I had to do that if my brother was watching something I didn't like....Right Chris...Hockey! So are you saying I suck!
And to add, if I offer you a million dollars to eat gross stuff, go on a date with a porn star, live on a deserted island by yourself with nothing else but your own sense of direction, travel around the world, etc ,you wouldn't do it. You got to be one rich bastard if you say no.

Yjfever, I should have known you would jump on the "Reality TV" bandwagon.

Ever thought of watching the news? The news is not a re-run, and it is unpredictable, and more importantly it has more REAL then reality tv.

Hockey? What about those stupid games shows I had to put up with... Jepordy, Wheel of Fish, Hollywood Squares and a lot more.

I think you don't have much to complain about. Smile

I'll be happier with reality TV when they contact me to host one of those shows.....perhaps we could call it PHEAR PHACTOR.....you ever notice how many hotties show up on the original......and to add a spin to get the guys watching it....we'll make it topless.

And no, as the host, I get to be an exception to the topless rule. Cool

I wouldn't want to be on the show for a chance to win money... making an BEEP out of myself. If I was to go on a reality tv show.. and make an BEEP out of myself... there would have to be guaranted money in my future... no chances...

Don't think so.... I would never ask for money from someone who won anything. I think that is soooo wrong. I really hate the way people swarm the fortunate persons who win the lottery, or what have you. If the person feels you deserve some of their money that is one thing... but to go to that person begging for a handout is just wrong.

If you wanted to be a part of it, that would be fine with me as it is completely up to you. I don't embarass easily so it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I would be happy for you if you won but I would guarantee I would never ask for some of your winnings... if you wanted to share I wouldn't turn it down of course... but never would I ask.

I used to watch it and now I despise it. Why I despise it so much is there are no good ideas out there. Only the same rehashed garbage every season. Create something new and original and I might check it out for fun. Reality tv is there for those who want to be entertained and when there's nothing else on to watch. Most of the time there's nothing else to watch. Tv has gone downhill in the last decade. Confused
