|
|
I spent alot of time watching TV when I was a kid, and still do today. I remember watching Knight Rider, The A-Team, and MaGuyver every week rarely missing an episode. There were alot of good shows back in the 80's. If I had to choose my five fav shows from the 80' they would be:
1. The A-Team
2. Knight Rider
3. MaGuyver
4. Miami Vice
5. Airwolf
It wasn't easy for me to narrow down my top shows from the 80's to just five, but I condensed my list anyways. There are a few others I watched religiously. Here are a few more that didn't make the cut:
1. Tales Of The Golden Monkey
2. Riptide
3. Blue Thunder
4. Hardcastle & MaCormick
5. The Fall Guy
6. Scarecrow and Mrs. King
7. Magnum P.I.
8. Street Hawk
9. Renegades
10. War of The Worlds: The Series
11. V: The Series
12. Remington Steele
Those are the few. There's more good shows out there in the 80's TV show archives. What are your fav shows from the 80's. Are there still 80's shows you would watch if they re-aired today? I would. I watch Miami Vice every time it's on and Magnum P.I. If the others would ever return back on TV I would watch them again with a few exceptions of coarse. The A-Team I can no longer stomach for it's stupidity, lame stories, horrible acting, and ridiculous action. I used to love The A-Team, but I tried watching it on Prime Channel 49 one day and couldn't sit past the the first 5 - 7 minutes of it. The A-Team also ended up the same way each episode with someone in trouble and the boys: Hannibal, Face, Murdock, B.A and the occasional assisstance from cheesey Amy. The team would create some absurd device ie. a cabbage launcher, (as if that would knock back armed gunmen leaving The A-Team victorious yet again), taking on bad guys in a small rural town while evading the cature of some hard assed miltary Sgt. who won't stop hunting The A-Team down. The A-Team, in my opinion, was a good show when I was in grade 4 and 5. Now it's unbearable. Let me know what you think of the 80's classic shows.
The A-Team gang at their prime back in the day no longer cut it. |

Okay I would say that the A-Team was my favorite show in the 80's. I watch it now, and I wonder if I was an idiot as a child....
A-Team
Greatest American Hero
Knight Rider
MaGuyver
Airwolf
Maybe not in that order... but thats my list |

It's not easy listing your favs from the 80's. Nice list Chris. Remington Steele is from the 80's. I also forgot Hunter and Mike Mammer starring Stacey Keach. The list is growing. |

Nice list you got there. I forgot about Family Ties. Remember Max Headrom? I used to watch that and Highwaymen, Tour Of Duty, The Master, The Power Of Mathew Star, Sledgehammer, Night Heat, Matt Houston, Friday The 13th: The Series, Tales From The Crypt, A Nightmare On Elm Street: The Series, The Wonder Years, The Equalizer, and Northern Exposure. Wait a minute. Did Northern Exposure start in the late 80's or the 90's? I can't remember. Northern Exposure is one my fav Tv shows of all time. The list is endless. How about Highway To Heaven, Helltown, Dynasty, Dallas, Anything But Love, Head Of The Class, and Hooperman? Remember any of those? |
