There are a few of us that do. I think you will find that Guyver also really likes Stargate SG1
I am not sure I like it as much now that Richard Dean Anderson aka Jack Oneil is gone. It is still a good series but the Jack charector really worked for me. At least Amanda Tapping aka Samantha Carter, Daniel Jackson aka Micheal Shanks and Christopher Judge aka Teal'c are still on the show.
The new guy Ben Browder who is playing Lieutenant Colonel Cameron Mitchell is good... but he is no Jack Oneil.
I would love to own the whole series but I bet it would be costly... |

i kno the series ent the same with out him, proper gutted wen he wnt
ive seen series 1-7 on ebay for £50
not too bad, at present i am sweet talkin my dad to buy it for me
i dont like stargate atlantis, its a crap spin off tbh.
i love the episode where it is the final fight against Apophis, and Jack O neil used the ancients weapon the defeat his army, wicked graphics and story line, was gutted when he got frozen at the end
Bring back Oneil i say |

WHAT>?!!?!??! they got rid of O'neil?
Damn. Now where am I gonna get my fix.
They better start showing Mcguyver reruns then damnit.
On of my favorite actors. Though I don't get to see SG1 very often, it's good.
Way better than that Atlantis spinoff...but then I don't think I've gotten to see a complete show of that either.
Maybe it is good? |

I don't mind Stargate Atlantis.... It is an okay series if you can get by the fact many of the events that happen on it, fly in the face of Stargate SG1.
Atlantis has its moments and given a chance, might be enjoyable.... but no where near as good as the first series IMHO |

Never got into the series and probably never will. I wasn't much of a fan of the movie either starring James Spader and Kurt Russell. Everyone I know tries to get me to watch Stargate, but I never bother because of how awful the movie was. The concept behind the Stargate movie is well done and thought out for originality and creativity. Who knows perhaps one day, many decades from now, I'll come across Stargate while surfing the channels and force myself to check it out. |

Probably a little late to try and get into Stargate SG1 now. I think if you can find it on re-run and watch the tv series from the begining you should check it out...
I dont think it would be much fun starting at random episodes in the middle and jumping around.... |

| Just for curiousity sake does the Tv series continue where the movie left? Not many Tv series based on film do well with only a few exceptions. For example: Stargate, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, to name a few. The only two i can think of at the moment. Are there othere I'm forgetting? Here's something to laugh at people. Blade the Tv series. Lol. Why would they ever do that when the latest installment failed. |

Thanks for the info Brunette Babe. Why do you love Stargate so much anyways? Many friends of mine rave about the Stargate series trying deperately to convince me to start watching it, but I think I'm seven to eight years to late to get into it. There's always downloading though. |

If you're a fan of Sci-fi do you like Star Wars, Doom, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Starship Troopers, Serenity, Event Horizon, the Alien series only to name a few. I remember back in the early to mid eighties a made for Tv mini-series called 'V' which spawned into a short lived series you might enjoy. If you like action sci-fi check out Pitch Black and The Chronicles Of Riddick if you get the oppurtunity Brunette Babe. Let me know what other sci-fi series or movies you like. |

loved pitch black and the chronicles of riddick
aliens 1, 2, 3 and 4 are probly the best sci-fi films going, altho part 4 was a bit tame, great graphics, but didnt really do much for me tbh
Loved starship troopers, part 2 was shite, not seen Doom yet but am watchin it nxt week as my mate has it on dvd. Hated starwars, dunno y, just hate it. Like battlestar galactica the series, thats pretty good. I havent seen serenity yet but ive been told its good.
I liked the film sphere that was wicked, errr now uve got me thinkin lol, i canny think:shock: |
