Okay I have a pet peeve. Why is it that people who make it big as a musical artist feel the need to then become actors? For the most part, singers cannot act! There are a few exceptions but not very many.

I think if you have been a singer, you enjoy singing, you are a good singer, stick to singing.... period!

Beyonce Knowles???
Britney Spears?? Give me a break
Mandy Moore? Blah
Mariah Carey - not a good actress
Eminem - Like his music but give me a break... acting? Come on.....
Jessica Simpson - Not a good actress
Madonna - Not a good actress
Bon Jovi - Not a good actor


There are a few exceptions like Will Smith, Mark Wahlberg, and possibly Jennifer Lopez (But I am not convinced) but not that many that is for sure.

Maybe take a few acting lessons and see if you have talent. If you are talented, and I mean truly talented then fine. If you are not talented, then for the love of Pete, do not waste my movie going dollars. To be honest, if a movie stars a singer I will not watch it in theater as it will almost certainly be horrible. The bad movies far out weigh the good ones IMO.

I like Mandy Moore. Have really enjoyed all the movies she's put out. Cried like a baby in A Walk to Remember.

Yeah he's a pretty good actor I think. I've really enjoyed the Men In Black films he's made. Smile

Wil Smith has come a long way to fame and fortune and worked hard at earing it. Wil is ok, especially in action and comedies, and the occasionally dramatic roles like Ali. Until later..... Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad Mad Shocked Cool Laughing
