Okay this should go without saying... but, this site is for people interested in the entertainment industry. If you want to discuss things not related to the entertainment industry you can do so in the off topic discussions forum. Just do not post silly ads as they WILL be deleted. If you think you are being clever... you are not as a hundred people a day do the same thing. This includes putting ads in your signature or avatar. If you want to advertise then offer to help pay for the costs associated with running this site. If you do not wish to pay then don’t bother posting as I will delete your account as well as the post.

i have pm'd the people postin porn and ads, they kept postin anyways

really aggs me coz i just wana delete them and all i can do is delete their posts. tis sad ppl feel the need to ruin this place with crap like that Evil or Very Mad

Gee Whizz they still don't get it. I will not have ads posted on this forum. I do not want them. The people browsing this forum don't even read them so don't even bother..... If this persists I will have to add a few security measures into the forum signup.

I just deleted two more ads...I think you are going to have to do something else...I do not think they even read anything that is posted, include this sticky. do what it takes!

Okay sorry to do this but from now on I will no longer be accepting new signups that use a free email address.... if a person signs up with an email address and spams from it, the entire domain will be blocked from sign up and the only way to bypass this will be to email me directly.

Maybe some stronger measure needs to be applied. I just came back after a 2 or 3 month hiatus only to find someone posting spam a few minutes later in all topics. -_-

We have been hit hard with spammers in recent weeks and I am sorry that I haven't been contributing to the general conversation as a result. I have wiped a lot of users (over 1000) from the forums that I feel were either bots or potential problems. If I deleted your account and I shouldn't have... I appologize. I am just getting sick and tired of trying to get rid of the bogus posts.

I will be implementing a new sign up process in the next little while. Once that is in place I should have more free time to actually engage in conversation again.

Sorry once again folks but I have had enough of spam. I have wiped every account that hasn't posted anything in the last 6 months. Sorry if I deleted an account that was not violating the TOS but I am trying to clean things up a bit.
