I think legalizing prostitution would be a great idea in Canada. It would pay off some of our Counrty's debt, if they worked it out that way, and also provide young legal aged people with jobs. It would also make our Country a hotspot for tourists. There an individual would go to a whorehouse, like outside of Reno at The Mustang Ranch, where the ladies or men, whatever your pleasure may be, would be checked for diseases on a regular basis by legit Doctors. There would be a tight security check on customers for the safety of the staff. The price of coarse would be hourly and the women or men would be placed in line for the customer to choose for his/her pleasure. Now there would be alot of work involved in ever making this happen, but who's to say it never will. Think about how many people would be saved from STD. Not only are the staff constantly checked by Doctors and wearing protection so are the customers before any pleasure takes place. Also think about how many street hookers lives would be saved by not being murdered or beaten and paid like crap by their lowlife BEEP pimps. Who else thinks this would be a great idea? Or do you disagree and why? Can you suggest any other ideas to legalizing prostitution and how we can benefit from it? Cool

It is certianly an idea that I never thought I would hear put forward, however if it was legalised and controled then it would decrease STI and prostitution abuse.
Depite these pros I think the cons of the degrading nature, especially the standing in the line ad could harm self-esteem if they were not picked often. I doubt that Canada would want to take it on due to the image it would be given. When I think of Canada I think of vast lakes and mountains and the CN Tower. I doubt the government would want that to change and the CN Tower being replaced by another erect object. Finally I doubt customers would do it in such an open enviroment they would not want their sexual escapades unearthed and would therefore never go to the doctor to get a check-up due to the embarrassment.
