Jaime is a successful American actress and model. Jaime King often accredited with the names Jamie King and most especially James King during her early modeling years, because her agency already represented another Jaime, the older, (then more famous) model Jaime Rishar. It has been suggested that Jaime was named after Jaime Sommers of the 1970s television series "The Bionic Woman". Jaime was discovered at the age of fourteen while attending a modeling school in Nebraska. After being spotted at her graduation fashion show, James (Jaime's stage name) was invited to New York to start modeling and thus her career as a model began. . In just a short time James was lucky enough to be photographed by the industries top photographers and appeared on the covers of most fashion magazines. By age fifteen, she had already worked for Vogue, Mademoiselle, Allure, and Seventeen while the following year she was able to add Glamour and Harper's Bazaar to her already full resume. A successful early career as a fashion model peaked and almost ended when at the age of 16 she developed a heroin addiction. Following the death of her then boyfriend Davide Sorrenti in 1997, she decided to stopped using the drug. Since the tragic event Jaime has worked hard to better herself and has acted in a number of quality Hollywood movies. With many accomplishments in TV, Movies and Acting, James sometimes co-host MTV's House of Style with host Rebecca Romijn-Stamos but a big break came when she landed the role of a nurse in Jerry Bruckheimer's big budget film Pearl Harbor, co-starring Ben Affleck. She also played Johnny Depp's daughter in the film, Blow. In the tradition of models being cast in music videos, James appears in Filter's video, Take a Picture.
